Scott Rumley

President & Owner

Scott Rumley has been successfully advising business owners and managers for almost 30 years. His extensive work experience encompasses bookkeeping and financial strategy, human resources and staffing, as well as marketing and advertising. This experience, combined with industry training and an MBA from the University of Tulsa, has honed his unique skills in coaching clients through front and back-office challenges.

Scott has a passion for improving the lives of business owners and their employees. In working with various entrepreneurs, one theme has been the most prevalent among their challenges: garnering trusted, real-time financial information on their business in order to make well-informed decisions. His clients consistently struggled to find qualified individuals or service firms who could prepare this information in an accurate, timely, and costly efficient manner. This realization motivated him to find a better solution for frustrated business owners.

LEADER, A former football captain at the University of Memphis, Scott understands the value and strength of a team-based approach. The E3 Bookkeeping model leverages this approach utilizing a team of bookkeepers, dedicated to specific clients, working together to provide accurate reporting and innovative solutions. This model provides for multiple sets of eyes on a company’s books, fostering greater transparency and risk reduction.

Prior to opening E3 Bookkeeping in 2018, Scott owned and led the Bookkeeping Express franchise in Oklahoma for 6 years, utilizing a virtual bookkeeping team model. E3 Bookkeeping is the culmination of Scott’s passion for team-based bookkeeping results combined with his desire to offer his clients a fully local team of experts.

Scott’s additional business experience includes serving as President of Prime Industrial Recruiters for 5 years, where he expanded the business footprint into new markets and advised business leaders on the best ways to manage their workforce. Also an experienced advertising and marketing consultant, Scott was a Senior Account Executive in the radio and television industry, helping local and national clients promote and grow their businesses for over 15 years.

Scott currently serves on the board of the Tulsa Chapter of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and is actively involved with the Tulsa Regional Chamber, in addition to being a member of Southside Rotary and a graduate of Leadership Tulsa (Class 28). He and his wife, Heather, reside in Tulsa with their two children.
